Surprise: superstar sings happy birthday to her in a luxurious hotel

The candles are shining their golden light on the white walls of Amaryllis Hotel in Malawi’s elegant city Blantyre, making a scene of a mixture of both diamond and gold around an iced cake for her 23^rd birthday.

Then comes Onesimus, with gaits heavy in all the swaggers, clad in his military-like attire, the woolen carpet absorbing not only the weight of his body stature but also the lines of music that dwell in a 31-year-old man.

The microphone is his built arm and starts the lines of “Happy Birthday”, surprising Lizzie, one of the popular models in Malawi, a surprise that turns her face pale like a baby’s on this birthday of hers in Malawi’s luxurious hotel.

“It was a great surprise for an artist I am a fan of to sing on my birthday. It was great and so amazing, the people around me were so nice” the 23-year-old curvaceous young woman told The Eyer.

“Everything was just so nice. I really enjoyed it. The people at Amaryllis made my day, honestly” said Lizzie in a voice full of gentleness, easy-taking temperaments while standing in immaculate airs of Blantyre.

Armstrong Kalua, professionally known as Onesimus, in the prime of his youth is the brand ambassador of the Luxurious Amaryllis Hotel that stands in white in Blantyre the country’s business center.

Amaryllis Hotel had Onesimus sing for their clients last Sunday night and celebrated birthdays with several others on the same day.

Lizzie is a model in Malawi

The entertainment reporter, an eloquent lady Mirriam commonly-known as Mimmi at Times TV in Malawi told The Eyer that Malawi treasures Onesimus, one of Africa’s popular artists, because he sings about love.

“Onesimus songs appeal to couples to have love, starting from the husband and wife, then within the family, the community and the country and this is very relevant to our angry and tired society” Mirriam who was thrilled at the event told The Eyer.

“I was there the entire time of Onesmus show at Amaryllis. It was so impressive, amazing, I can’t even describe it. It was unbelievable, I’m telling you” Mirriam recalled the pleasantness of the day.

From the Amaryllis Hotel and Lizzies Birthday, Onesimus proceeded to small businesses, having pictures with them as a way of boosting their businesses with his popularity.
