A victim’s VOICE in assailants’ NOISE

Life demands constant adaptation and examination in order to adhere to the constant changes that Charles Darwin had to call evolution.

While survival of the fittest still reigns those that are erroneously thought to be weak when left alone undisturbed, may survive longer than those claimed to be the fittest.

Each species has the same power to survive and the environment fairly necessitates it so even for man and woman.

Human existence provides platforms to learn, unlearn and relearn how survival is enhanced, strengthened or attacked voluntarily or involuntarily.

Each human voice has its message that when fully captured, embraced or understood, human life stands a better chance of surviving together in harmony.

Unfortunately, rapists and sympathisers have systematically distorted so much of such voices and kept a hard palm on a girl’s mouth to stop her from telling her challenges.

Rapists and sympathizers are not ready to capture, embrace and understand the Girl’s voice, crying for sustainable life among fellow humans.

Rapists are fully occupied with their destructive tendency.

The life of Adolescent Girls in Malawi and other parts of Africa is at the mercy of the men who have created a system that justifies their violence towards Adolescent Girls.

In that systematic way, the voice of an adolescent girl is vigorously trampled upon such that when she is victimised by rapists, her voice goes unnoticed.

Rape cases in Malawi have risen despite the fact that more of such cases go unreported.

Society and all religions have allowed it to be a way of life such that men continue to violate where they dominate.

Their dominance in life affairs is purely on the basis of suffocating any voice that threatens his destructive tendency to another gender.

Projects that strengthen Adolescent Girl's voices and active participation in the development of their individual lives, families and communities are thwarted by these dominating men.

They are very cunning in holding all the key strategic positions that would respond to the voices of the Adolescent Girls.

The men hold the resources and misuse the resources in order that would work to stop the violence towards Adolescent Girls.

Each step being taken to uplift the girl child is systematically impeded by the men in their dominion.

It’s the men that put rules and regulations that are sympathetic to violent perpetrators and its men who pass judgment to fellow men violating men’s rules.

There is also backing from the older generation of women who supports the archaic patriarchal freedom of sexual abuse against the girl child.

These old women, who grew up in patriarchal societies and got used to being violated against, do force girls to marry instead of attaining an education or skills for survival.

The women neutralize violence against Adolescent Girls when the rapists have money.

The old women find no problem in shutting up a girl child who accuses a relative of sexually assaulting her.

The girl child’s voice still has not been heard because the noise of perpetrators of sexual violence against her is far higher.
